Please join us for our FINAL workday for Phase 1!
It is estimated that about 275 volunteer hours have gone into phase 1 this summer! And due to everyone’s great efforts and positive spirits, we are about to end this first chapter—filled with gratitude to our many volunteers!
This final day we will lay the remaining 3 sheets of plastic. And to join us in this celebratory event, SMC’s Forest Regeneration Team will be joining us. A special thank you to Christy Zolty, Forest Regen Program Coord. for lending these efforts!
You **MUST** bring water and snacks and work gloves if you have them. Ages 15+
Meeting place: Shady Nook Picnic Area. Park in the lot and walk through the trees over to the work site.
